Dedicated E-mail 3 business days before delivery date

  • Banner changes during an insertion term must be delivered at least two (2) business days prior to change.

  • Advertisers using a third party ad server must send a copy of this creative for review before the third party tags can be implemented.

B. Content

All web banner, dedicated e-mail and e-newsletter text advertising creative is subject to Eagle Interactive approval. Eagle Interactive reserves the right to reject or cancel any Advertisement, Insertion Order, and space reservation or position commitment at any time based upon its creative content or otherwise. Eagle Interactive has the right to refuse any content that is defamatory, racist, sexist or discriminatory to any social or religious group at its discretion. Eagle Interactive has the right to refuse any content that is sexually explicit in nature, that contains bodily functions, that condones illegal actions, that contains violence, that advertises any male enhancement products or advertises HGH (human growth hormone).

Dedicated E-mail Creative Requirements

A. File Requirements

Eagle Interactive requires HTML-formatted creative from all clients. If client is not able to supply HTML formatted creative, Eagle Interactive can format creative for Advertiser for a minimum fee of $100/hour if text creative is provided five (5) business days before broadcast date. The following items are needed for each dedicated e-mail creative:

  • Text file
  • HTML file
  • Subject line
  • Seed e-mail addresses
  • Landing Page URL

B. Content

All files must meet approval by Eagle Interactive for content prior to being mailed out to the list. Eagle Interactive also reserves the right to review landing pages for approval.

It is Eagle Interactive company policy that we do not accept Investor Relations advertising.

Eagle Financial Dedicated E-mail advertising creative cannot include e-mail capture offers.

C. File Size

E-mail content size not to exceed 100KB as the maximum acceptable file size for HTML creative from 3rd party clients, including text versions of the creative.

D. SPAM Guidelines

Eagle Interactive uses third-party e-mail broadcasting audit and optimization services such as Pivotal Veracity and Habeas to insure the highest successful delivery rates for our clients. These vendors assign a numeric "spam score" to each e-mail being tested. Scores above a certain threshold will result in the creative being changed per Eagle Interactive suggestions or the creative will be rejected. The phrases below are some of the most common spam triggers that appear in emails. Avoiding the use of these phrases will greatly increase the overall delivery rate and lower the odds of the email being marked as "spam".

NOTE: It is important to keep in mind that there are many other phrases that can be just as problematic, but avoiding these frequently used keywords is always beneficial:

  • Full Refund
  • Act Now
  • Go Here
  • Risk-Free (or Risk Free)
  • Money Back
  • Get Paid
  • Cash In
  • Extra Income
  • Financial Freedom
  • Income Opportunity
  • No Obligation
  • Big Money
  • Stock Pick
  • Mortgage Rate
  • Weight Loss
  • Lose Weight
  • Over 18
  • Satisfaction is Guaranteed
  • Amateur
  • Penny Stock
  • 1-800
  • Investment Advice

E. Text/Fonts

It is important to try to avoid the use of large fonts in e-mail creatives. Advertiser can convert words or headlines with large text into images; this will help avoid setting off spam filters.

F. URLS

Eagle Interactive does not allow "raw" URLs to be included in outbound e-mail creatives. This is an important safeguard in order to protect email delivery rates. For example, the following URL, if made into a link, would not be acceptable: http://www.humanevents.com. Instead, we would add a call tag such as "Click here to go to Human Events". (Note embedded URL within the text to make an active link.)

G. Follow-up Eagle Political Dedicated E-mail Service

Eagle Interactive offers its clients a "follow-up" dedicated e-mail to the individuals who opened their initial e-mail if the Advertiser purchases the full Eagle Political E-mail list. For example, if an Advertiser purchased and sent a dedicated e-mail to the list, Eagle could also include a follow-up e-mail to the e-mail addresses of subscribers who opened the initial e-mail. This could be potentially an additional 20,000-30,000 e-mail send. The cpm rate for this service is $35.

H. Eagle Political E-Mail Generation

Eagle Interactive accepts lead generation creative for a $10 cpm premium.

I. Duplicate E-mail Sends

An Advertiser can only send one (1) piece of e-mail creative or e-newsletter text advertising to each respective e-mail list once every thirty (30) days. If Advertiser would like to send an additional e-mail broadcast or e-newsletter they will need to provide new creative. After an e-mail is broadcast and if the Advertiser has scheduled the follow-up e-mail service, the Advertiser can only do one follow-up broadcast with the same creative within the same thirty (30) day period. This policy is to protect the Advertiser and Eagle Interactive from having e-mails end-up in subscriber Junk Mail/Spam folders.

J. E-Mail Reporting/Statistics

Eagle will provide e-mail statistics to the client 72 hours after the initial send that will include open and click through rates when available. The open rate is the number of unique e-mails opened versus the number of e-mails sent. The click through rate is the number of unique clicks divided by the number of unique opened emails.

K. Hotline E-mail Names

For Annual Agreements, Eagle Interactive offers Advertisers "hotline" e-names for individuals who registered online for any of the dedicated e-mails or e-newsletter products. For example, Eagle Interactive can sell Advertisers our new hotline e-mail subscribers list on a monthly basis for a small dedicated e-mail campaign. Two weeks after each e-mail subscriber is received it is then available to sell to Advertisers.
